Embracing My Inner Fashionista

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of No nonsense for SocialSpark. All opinions are 100% mine.

I would by no means call myself a fashionista.  I keep my clothes options pretty simple by usually wearing jeans or sweatpants.  I was pumped to have the opportunity to step up my wardrobe choices and test out some leggings and tights.

No nonsense tights and leggings was nice enough to send me a pair of “jean” leggings and a pair of espresso tights.  When I signed up for this opportunity I hadn’t found out I was pregnant.  Fast forward a few months and I receive my box of goodies to try on.  Would you believe my  “jeggings” fit my 5 month pregnant body?  Holla!  In all honesty,  they were pretty comfortable and I thought they looked super cute.  I can’t wait to rock these post baby.  A huge step up from my bleached stained sweatpants.

Here is a pic of me and the baby bump rocking my No nonsense leggings.

As for the tights, I loved that they were a different color than your typical black tights, but I couldn’t get them on this pregnant body.  I really popped after Christmas (let’s blame it on the pregnancy and not all the Christmas cookies I ate).   Instead, I had some fun making up outfits for after I had the baby.

For those who were reluctant to try leggings or tights I highly recommend the No nonsense brand (specifically the leggings I tested).  What I was most excited about is that they are affordable!  Music to this frugal mama’s heart.  You can purchase them in mass retailers and many drug stores.  I checked my CVS and they had a selection of tights/leggings.

If you’re a newbie to fashion and don’t know where to start, No nonsense has a brand ambassador who can help you.  Her name is Jill Martin and she has written a New York Times Best Seller about fashion and is a fashion correspondent for Access Hollywood.   Jill tweets out some great practical fashion advice (read: stuff the everyday person can implement).

  3. I think you look super cute, and I love tights myself...but as a self proclaimed fashionista I have to say...leggings that look like jeans are not typically a good look lol...don't allow me to offend you, it's a personal pet peeve. But when you look as cute as you do pregnant, who even notices? :)
