Linking up with Tiffany and Lauren for another fun edition of Tuesday Topics. This week it's all about your favorite TV Shows. For me to narrow it down to just 8 is kind of crazy. I kept it to all shows currently on TV just to make this list more manageable. Let me also say that my TV is mostly tuned to Nick Jr and Disney Jr. but I like to sneak in some TV time at night when Little Bear is asleep.
8. Honey Boo Boo
I pretty much watch anything that TLC puts on TV and this show just cracks me up. Despite how it can make me dry heave, I still watch this show weekly. BTW I know they get a bad rap but I think Mama June is one smart lady. I read that she never even sees the money from the show and has TLC deposit it into trusts set up for each of her daughters.

7. Real Housewives of ??
I will watch any location though I have to say my least favorite was DC. I do enjoy my Jersey girls, but I think my favorites are the ladies from Atlanta. Kendra and her "gone with the wind fabulous" really brought the crazy drama this season.  |

6. Big Bang Theory
I die watching this show and the addition of Amy Farrah Fowler as Sheldon's girlfriend was pure genius.

5. Days of Our Lives
Is it weird that I have been watching this show since i was 4? My mom and grandma both watched Days and I just always remember it being on. In fact, my sister used to tape it when we were at school and we would watch it at night. I now go in spurts of watching it but I still love it. BTW does any one watch it? I am obsessed with it lately. Fingers crossed for EJ and Sami.

4. One Tree Hill
Technically no new episodes on the air anymore but there are still reruns on Soapnet. One of our first Valentine's Days together, Tommy bought me season one of OTH on DVD. We watched the whole thing together in one weekend and it's still one of my favorite dating moments.

3. How I Met Your Mother
The earlier seasons kill me. I actually think this show has run it's course but I am super excited to see who the "mother" turns out to be.

2. House Hunters
In some ways I like to torture myself by watching people buy amazing homes for half the price they cost in NY. I also love choosing the home I would pick out of the 3. So addicting! I couldn't find a good pic to capture House Hunters but I hope you know the show.
1. Homeland.
I didn't even want to watch this show and Tommy made me. I was hooked after just one episode. I love love love this show!

ReplyDeletei agree 100% with you about himym! i stopped watching it last season becaue it just was "meh" and not that funny anymore, although barney is always hilarious and legendary :)

ReplyDeleteFound you on the link up. How did I leave off some of these shows? Big Bang is one of my faves! So is Honey Boo Boo. People can hate on Mama June all they want to, but no one can deny that her children are loved. I've wanted to get into Homeland, but haven't watched it yet. Great list!
ReplyDeleteLOVE Big Bang Theory! I watch it every day! I live in an apartment and the people who live below me are from Georgia and the house Honey Boo Boo's family lives in belonged to his great grandparents. (Or so he says although he does have a picture and it looks like the same place.)

I USED to have a slightly unhealthy addiction to the Real Housewives of NJ... and the Hubby and I used to LOVE watching the Big Bang Theory together... and House Hunters is so addicting (when I was pregnant with NK, after LW was to put to bed for the night, and if Hubby was working nightshift, that was my go-to show), fun guessing which house they will pick... We have since got rid of our DirecTV and now have HULU Plus, so our choices are limited, but hasn't really phased either of us (so far, and its been about 4 months, so at this point I think we'll survive)! ;)
ReplyDeleteI am addicted to Honey Boo Boo. I gag and laugh all at the same time, but I cannot get enough of it. How I Met Your Mother is the only thing I can think of that has kept my attention for such a long span of time... I just want to know who the mother is for the love of TV! I'm glad to know you're enjoying some of the same shows I am; swing by my blog when you get a chance, I'd love to get your input on my pop culture topics.
