I look at a diaper bag as an investment bag. When I had Bear I used that diaper bag for over 2 years and though it was expensive it was something I used every day. It was a great bag with lots of pockets, super roomy and strong handles which are all important criteria in my book. It took a beating with my every day use and it needed to be retired before I had Luke.
When I found out I was pregnant with the Lion I started looking at diaper bags online to see what my options were. Loads of bags popped up and I chose what looked stylish.
Fast forward 6 months and Luke arrives and I start using the diaper bag day in and day out and I just don't love it. I feel terrible. Tommy bought me this bag last Christmas and it was exactly what I wanted, but the functionality of it has some stinky points. I need more pockets and I need better bottle holders.
So when I was contacted by Built to review a product from their new baby collection I jumped at the chance to review a diaper bag.
The first thing I noticed about my Go-Go Diaper Tote was it was BIG! This made me sooo happy. I hate having to bring like 5 different bags when I leave the house so I really wanted a bag big enough to hold everything. I peeked inside and it had 4 pockets plus an outer pocket and two designated spots for bottles which made my heart swoon. The outer pocket I dubbed the mama pocket. This is where I throw my phone, wallet, keys, chapstick etc.
|Don't mind the face but this was my moms millionth attempt at taking a picture.|
My one thing I would change is I would have a bigger back pocket that I would use for diapers, wipes and changing pad (love that the pad matches the bag). Currently it's in one of the pockets on the inside which isn't a big deal , but for better access I like it as a big pocket in the back.
